Copying Services
We make copies from the books available at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Family History Library has a collection of over 300,000 books. In these books are a variety of records.
These records consist of: Birth, Marriage, Death, Cemetery, Land, Military, etc.
There are United States County History books which contain biographies and there may be a biography about your ancestor.
Also included is a section of Family History books compiled by family members.
Requests may be made to copy specific pages from a book or
we will research the U. S. County or Family History books for your ancestors.
The Family History Library Catalog lists the books for each county of the United States.
Please go to the catalog and select the books you would like researched. Each book is assigned a call number.
To get the Call Numbers for the County books:
1. Click on the address for the Family History Library Catalog. 2. Click on "Place Search".
3. Type in the name of the County you would like researched.
4. Type in the name of the State the county is in and press Search.
5. Decide what type of record to search. Example: History for a County History or Vital Records for Birth, Marriage and Death records.
6. Write down the Title of the book and the call number. Example: History of Cumberland Co., Maine Call # 974.191 H2c 1994
Then email the names of one ancestor or family you would like us to research. Please include as much information as possible.
To get the Call Numbers for the Family History Books:
1. Click on the address for the Family History Catalog.
2. Click on "Surname Search".
3. Type in the name of your family- Smith or Green, ect. and press Search.
4. The list includes books with your Surname in. The call number usually starts with 929.
Please include the county and state where your family lived and as much information as possible.
